Meet Our Team
Dane Mathiesen, BA
Dane graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts, Geology Major in 1984. Before and during university, Dane worked with his father in the bricklaying trade. After graduating Dane worked as a carpenter employee, and later started his own company, allowing him to develop his skills in the trade and business operations.
With BODA Construction, Dane manages on-site construction projects and coordinates the other BODA team members and project superintendents to ensure the best people are assigned to each individual project. Dane’s exceptional trade skills along with his personal management skills ensure BODA’s projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Brian Boyd, Dipl. Tech, AscT
Brian worked as an apprentice carpenter and completed his apprenticeship and vocational training and attained his Interprovincial Journey Carpentry Certificate in 1981. Brian also attended the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University and later the British Columbia Institute of Technology, graduating with a Diploma of Technology in Building Construction, Economics Major in 1983. In 1986 Brian achieved the professional designation of Applied Science Technologist (AScT) with the Applied Science & Technologists Association of B.C.
With BODA Construction, Brian is responsible for the management of off-site construction operations, sales, contracts with trades and suppliers, and staff production. Along with Dane, Brian is responsible for client, designer and trade relationships and coordinates with Dane to ensure projects run efficiently and on budget.
